Start Here: Welcome!

Hey There, Friends!

Welcome

I want to thank you for coming to visit my little corner of the internet.  I had always wanted to share my ideas, tips and tricks, and resources for Speech Language Pathology...and finally took the leap in the spring of 2020.

About Me

I've been a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) since 2005.  I've worked in a variety of settings, but most of my experience has been working with 3-5 year old students in the Headstart Setting.

I am a strength-based SLP with additional training in Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, and ADHD.

I am a mother of four wonderful children.  Three have ADHD and one also has Autism.  This gives me the unique perspective of both sides of the therapy table.  As the parent of neurodiverse children, I am  familiar and empathetic with the challenges many families face. It can be overwhelming to parent a child with any type of delay. Having experienced this working with these children as a SLP and as a mother, I truly understand the challenges. I love working with families towards their goals.

What I Offer

I offer blog posts with ideas for both professionals and parents.  I also offer consultations and lectures for groups or classes.

Pop over to Instagram to see a peek inside my day to day life both at home and at work.
